To The Loyal Customers of Kimmel Scrap Iron & Metal
One of the major issues we at Kimmel have faced over the past year is a shortage of rail cars with which we ship our and your scrap metal to steel mills and foundries. A lot of press has been given to the changes in rail service in America. We have made the decision to purchase the first 5 railcars which will be company owned. This should allow us to ship more material and be less dependent on system owned cars and leased cars from other vendors. Just as you our customers continue to constantly improve your operations we at Kimmel also work to be more efficient and cost effective in all of our operations.
