To the loyal customers of Kimmel Scrap.

It is hard to believe but beginning in January, Kimmel Scrap will be celebrating. 75 years recycling your scrap metal. I personally have a lot of people to thank, my family sacrificed many nights and long hours and missed soccer and softball games to make my company grow. My employees: many have been with me for over 35 years. Many of these people you may never see, but behind the scenes they are what makes things happen. Most of all I want to thank you, our customer. We have served some of you for over 50 years and it is our pleasure to take care of your recycling needs and hope for many more years to come.

As we begin December, our statistics stand clear for 2024, not a particularly good year for scrap metal prices. We have seen a steady decrease in prompt scrap prices throughout the entire year. Some commodities held their value better than others. However, we do not foresee a rebound in scrap metal prices until the earliest second quarter of 2025. Nonferrous prices for this year have had many ebbs and flows, with these prices moving constantly during the year.

On behalf of our entire team, we want to wish you a joyous Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.

Sincerely,
Robert Kimmel
President/CEO
