To our loyal customers of Kimmel Scrap:
2022 continues to be a tumultuous year and many expect it to last into 2023. We are all experiencing difficulties whether they are supply chain issues, lack of staffing, lack of parts, transportation issues and the cost of fuel continues to skyrocket. As a result of diesel fuel prices continuing to reach historical highs we are implementing a fuel surcharge that will be going into effect July 1, 2022.
Beginning July 1 Kimmel Scrap will assess a $50.00 fuel surcharge (FSC) to each exchange. The amount will be deducted from your monthly payment and be listed on your monthly statement.
This is something Kimmel Scrap has never done in our 72+ year history. We appreciate your understanding and we will eliminate the fuel surcharge as soon as possible.
