Greetings to our Valued Customers,

All of us at Kimmel Scrap Iron & Metal celebrated Earth Day on Friday, April 22. At Kimmel we consider every day Earth Day. This day reminds us that the services we provide by recycling scrap metal helps everyone on earth by conserving our precious natural resources for future generations. One way that you could help is by minimizing any fluids that may get into your loads and look into alternatives for recycling oils and cutting fluids. If you would like help in finding a vendor that recycles oils and cutting fluids we would be happy to assist you. It’s not just a day, it’s a state of mind all year long!

On a second positive note, the scrap market continued to rise for May. There has been an unexpected shortage of scrap metal at the mills and foundries that has caused nice increases for the two consecutive months. We are on a roll – let’s all keep our fingers crossed and hope this positive market will continue into the summer.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Robert, Ken, or myself at any time. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you soon.

Thank you,

TJ Yarema
