To the loyal customers of Kimmel Scrap.
As the long cold winter begins to release its icy grip and we all look forward to spring bringing warmer temperatures and the green up that follows, we at Kimmel Scrap have a couple of exciting changes to look forward to this year.
Our maintenance manager and lead mechanic Kurt Burrell has retired after over 32 years of loyal service to our company. We wish him well and hope he enjoys his future spending time with his growing family. We welcome our new maintenance manager Richard (Rick) Peterson. Rick brings with him 30 years of experience in our industry and we are glad to have him on our team.
Another welcome addition to our yard is a 2026 Caterpillar 3050 material handler. We regularly update our machinery to reduce down time and improve efficiency in the yard. The final addition to our truck fleet this year is a 2027 Peterbilt six axle straight truck. This style of truck is a first for us and with a shorter overall length will allow better maneuverability in tighter spaces to place roll off boxes.
At Kimmel Scrap we constantly strive to upgrade our equipment and procedures to better service our loyal customers.
We appreciate your business and as always feel free to reach out whenever you have a question or are in need of help.
