To our loyal customers of Kimmel Scrap:
As we are sure all of you are aware, it is very difficult if not impossible to hire employees for any open positions. It is even more difficult to find people for highly specific areas such as truck drivers. Besides the normal requirements for licensing and medical checks, the drivers for roll off and lugger trucks we use are very highly trained over a lengthy period of time. Because of all of the above we too are running lean in this area of our business. Having drivers out on vacation and medical leave periodically leaves us shorthanded as well. We would like to ask you, our loyal customers, to help us better service you by giving us as much advanced notice as possible when requiring a switch. Also, please have patience with us as we are working as hard as we can to service you.
As we are approaching our 73rd year I hope you are able to know that we have weathered these conditions many times and look forward to serving you with the personal attention you deserve. If you have any questions or concern, please contact either myself, Robert Kimmel, or Ken Schutt.
